Why I Choose Network Marketing Profession?

I have been an entrepreneur since finishing my high school in 1985 and there are many people who asked me this question, "Why do you chose the Network Marketing Profession." 

Below are 7 Reasons Why I Choose Network Marketing Profession:-

1. Passive Residual Income   
Network Marketing provides me with the opportunity to leverage my time to create wealth. To be able to have more time and money is the ultimate goals that I want to achieve.

2. Freedom   
No other business opportunity to my knowledge provides me with the freedom that Network Marketing does. I can choose to work with whom I want, where I want and when I want.

I am free to choose how to market my business whether it is through social media marketing, online through the internet, person-to-person, through the mail, over the phone, in small groups presenting to a few people or to a big group presenting to thousands of people.

3. Low Start Up Costs   
Unlike conventional or franchising business I do not need to invest in a large amounts of money into my business. Network Marketing provides the opportunity for ordinary people like me with the desire to succeed to earn extraordinary incomes. The sky is the limit in term of earning opportunities.

4. International Business  
It is a borderless global business opportunity. There is no restriction. You can choose to do your business in any countries that the company is in operation. Currently I am doing my Network Marketing business in a dozen of countries.

This has been made possible by the power of the internet, social media marketing and the advancement in distribution networking. I have made friends and business associates from all over the world and this has been built from the comfort of my own home.

5. Support  
The advantage of joining a Network Marketing business is that, “You are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.” There will be a team of committed and successful Upline Leaders who will always be interested to help you to become successful. "Everyday is the Season" to Work Hard

The Ants Philosophy

We can definitely learn some lessons from the ants.  Proverbs said, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.”

Here’s a very simple and powerful 4 part lessons taught by one of my personal and leadership development mentor, the late Jim Rohn, The Ants Philosophy.

Over the years Jim Rohn have been teaching children about a simple but powerful concept - the ant philosophy. We can apply The Ant Philosophy to our personal and professional life.

Jim Rohn said, The Ant Philosophy have an amazing four- part philosophy.

1. Ants Never Quit.

That's a good philosophy. If they're headed somewhere and you try to stop them; they'll look for another way. They'll climb over, they'll climb under, they'll climb around. They keep looking for another way. What a neat philosophy, to never quit looking for a way to get where you're supposed to go.

2. Ants Think Winter All Summer.

That's an important perspective. You can't be so naive as to think summer will last forever. So ants are gathering in their winter food in the middle of summer.

An ancient story says, "Don't build your house on the sand in the summer." Why do we need that advice? Because it is important to be realistic. In the summer, you've got to think storm. You've got to think rocks as you enjoy the sand and sun. Think ahead.

3. Ants Think Summer All Winter.

That is so important. During the winter, ants remind themselves, "This won't last long; we'll soon be out of here." And the first warm day, the ants are out. If it turns cold again, they'll dive back down, but then they come out the first warm day. They can't wait to get out.

4. Ants Do All They Possibly Can.

And here's the last part of the ant philosophy. How much will an ant gather during the summer to prepare for the winter? All that he possibly can. What an incredible philosophy, the "all-that-you-possibly-can" philosophy.

So what do we learnt, Never Give Up, Look Ahead, Stay Positive and Do All You Can because “Everyday is the Season”

Wishing You A Quantum Leap Success For 2012!

February 29, known as a leap day in the Gregorian calendar, is a date that occurs in most years that are evenly divisible by 4, such as 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. Years containing a leap day are called leap years. February 29 is the 60th day of the Gregorian calendar in such a year, with 306 days remaining until the end of that year.

I am challenging myself to commit the remaining 306 days to do my best to experience another Quantum Leap of Success in my journey of life in 2012!

As I looked back on my journey of life as an entrepreneur from 1986 to 2009, I discover that to be successful in life, we need to have the courage to take risk and to go for a “Quantum Leap” to do things differently to get extraordinary results.

Taaîfung

I was having breakfast with my son, Ryan this morning and he asked me about my business trip to Manila and whether it is the first time that I seen a typhoon? What is a typhoon? I took the opportunity to share with him an interesting fact about typhoon.

The modern form of typhoon was influenced by a borrowing from the Cantonese variety of Chinese, namely the word taaîfung, and respelled to make it look more like Greek. Taaîfung, meaning literally "great wind," was coincidentally similar to the Arabic borrowing and is first recorded in English guise as tuffoon in 1699. The various forms coalesced and finally became typhoon.

Yes, it is the first time for me to witness the massive Typhoon Concon that hit the capital city of The Philippines, Manila on Tuesday, 13^th July, 2010. I was supposed to fly back to Malaysia together with more than 100 business associates of mine from Malaysia, Singapore, UK and Hong Kong. Our flight was postponed due to the typhoon for safety reason.

It is terrifying to witness how the typhoon can hit the city with wind gusting at 120 kilometers per hour causing major traffic jams, aeroplanes grounded and widespread blackouts. It is sad to read the news that the typhoon killed at least 20 people and sixty others were reported missing.

We were all very safe inside the beautiful Heritage Hotel. While I was at the coffee house lounge looking through the glass windows and my heart just felt for the many poor street kids that do not have a home and shelter. Flimsy slum homes were swept away entirely, along with their inhabitants. Those who were left behind have had to scavenge for materials to build new shelters the very next day. Some fishermen went missing and fearing death after their boat capsized off the coast.

Joining thousands of Filipino to pray for the safety of their love ones the assurance of Psalm 9:18 came to me. "For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever."

Imagine, this is 1 of the 20 or so typhoons sweeping through the country every year, killing hundreds of people. We are all so blessed that we do not have to live in fear because of the typhoons. For the Filipinos who have to face the typhoons, we pray that they will be strong in overcoming the circumstances and challenges.

People Who Did Not Give Up

Here's are some of the great people who did not give up in what they believe in. Hopefully their stories can served as an inspiration and to provide some encouragement in times when your dreams seem out of reach and you started to have doubts in yourself.

Albert Einstein did not speak until he was 4-years-old and did not read until he was 7. His parents thought he was "sub-normal," and one of his teachers described him as "mentally slow, unsociable, and adrift forever in foolish dreams." He was expelled from school and was refused admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School. He did eventually learn to speak and read. Even to do a little math.

As a young man, Abraham Lincoln went to war a captain and returned a private. Afterwards, he was a failure as a businessman. As a lawyer in Springfield, he was too impractical and temperamental to be a success. He turned to politics and was defeated in his first try for the legislature, again defeated in his first attempt to be nominated for congress, defeated in his application to be commissioner of the General Land Office, defeated in the senatorial election of 1854, defeated in his efforts for the vice-presidency in 1856, and defeated in the senatorial election of 1858. At about that time, he wrote in a letter to a friend, "I am now the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on the earth."

Beethoven handled the violin awkwardly and preferred playing his own compositions instead of improving his technique. His teacher called him "hopeless as a composer." And, of course, you know that he wrote five of his greatest symphonies while completely deaf.

When Bell telephone was struggling to get started, its owners offered all their rights to Western Union for $100,000. The offer was disdainfully rejected with the pronouncement, "What use could this company make of an electrical toy."

After Harrison Ford's first performance as a hotel bellhop in the film Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round, the studio vice-president called him in to his office. "Sit down kid," the studio head said, "I want to tell you a story. The first time Tony Curtis was ever in a movie he delivered a bag of groceries. We took one look at him and knew he was a movie star." Ford replied, "I thought you were spossed to think that he was a grocery delivery boy." The vice president dismissed Ford with "You ain't got it kid , you ain't got it ... now get out of here."

Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he succeeded.

Louis Pasteur was only a mediocre pupil in undergraduate studies and ranked 15th out of 22 students in chemistry.

Michael Jordan and Bob Cousy were each cut from their high school basketball teams. Jordan once observed, "I've failed over and over again in my life. That is why I succeed."

A Paris art dealer refused Picasso shelter when he asked if he could bring in his paintings from out of the rain. One hopes that there is justice in this world and that the art dealer eventually went broke.

Thomas Edison's teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything." He was fired from his first two jobs for being "non-productive." As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."

Van Gogh sold only one painting during his life. And this to the sister of one of his friends for 400 francs (approximately $50). This didn't stop him from completing over 800 paintings.

An expert said of Vince Lombardi: "He possesses minimal football knowledge and lacks motivation." Lombardi would later write, "It's not whether you getknocked down; it's whether you get back up."

Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." He went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland. In fact, the proposed park was rejected by the city of Anaheim on the grounds that it would only attract riffraff.

Winston Churchill failed sixth grade. He was subsequently defeated in every election for public office until he became Prime Minister at the age of 62. He later wrote, "Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never, Never, Never, Never give up."
